Our aim is to develop basic science on water electrolysis, organic hydride synthesis, fuel cells, and related electrochemical processes as fundamental technologies toward hydrogen-based society.

We have several newcomers. 2023/3/27-29 Five presentations for the 90th ECSJ Meeting (at Tohoku Institute of Technology). 2023/3/23 Kazuyuki Matsukawa (M2) won the Best Presentation Prize of the Masther's Thesis. Taiki Ishida (M2), Shota Oi (M2), and Ritsuki Nakajima (M2) won the Good Presentation Award of the Masther's Thesis. Hiroki Wago (B4) won the Good Presentation Award of the Graduation Thesis. 2022/9/8~9 Six presentations for the 2022 ECSJ Fall Meeting (at the Minatomirai campus, Kanagawa University). M2 and M1 students talked about their research by the in-person style. 2022/8/29~9/6 We co-organized 14th International Summer School on Advanced Studies of Polymer Electrolyte Fuel Cells (Main organizer: Our laboratory and Araki Laboratory) with Graz Technical University (Austria) as a hybrid event. Six undergraduate students gave presentations. 2020/10/7 Five presentations for the PRiME2020 (The Electrochemical Society). 2020/9/18 Our homepage was renewed. 2020/9/2 Three presentations for the 71st Annual Meeting of the International Society of Electrochemistry. 2020/9/17 The 38th Summer School of the ECSJ Kanto Division was held online. Our students worked as the local organizer.
